What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. We use them to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure how the site is used, and run a small set of analytics and advertising tools.
What we set
- Essential. Authentication, session, security, and checkout state. These cannot be turned off without breaking the product.
- Functional. Remembering your preferences, like which analysis you were in the middle of.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying counts of which pages perform well, where people drop off, and how fast things load.
- Marketing. Conversion measurement for ads run on platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Google. Off by default in the EU, UK, and other regions that require opt-in.
Your controls
You can decline non-essential cookies from the banner that appears on your first visit, or change your choice any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though this may break parts of the site.
Third parties
We use Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and image delivery, and PostHog for product analytics. Each sets its own cookies under its privacy terms. We do not share your selfie or color report with any of them.
