Yuree is a small team of vision researchers, dermatologists, and editors based in Seoul, with collaborators across time zones. We translate individual skin into individual care, ninety seconds at a time. We are hiring three people to push the next chapter forward.
Our CEO is hands-on, in the work every day. Engineers brief her on model evals in the morning, the brand lead reviews copy with her in the afternoon, and the formulations team walks her through stability runs after lunch. Every person we hire works directly with her from day one and most days after.

Senior Software Engineer
Full-time · RemoteBuild the platform that holds the rest of Yuree up. From the analysis pipeline that turns a selfie into a report, to the subscription engine that ships compounded serums on the right cadence, you'll work across the stack and own systems end to end.
What you'll do
- Design and build the services that orchestrate scan ingestion, analysis runs, formulation handoff, and report delivery.
- Ship customer-facing surfaces in Next.js and React, with a feel for type, motion, and the edge cases that ruin first impressions.
- Partner with the AI team to productionise their models behind clean APIs, with the latency, observability, and rollback story those models deserve.
- Own reliability for the stack you build: alerts, runbooks, post-incident reviews that actually change the system.
- Help raise the engineering bar as we grow, from code review standards to the way we hire the next ten engineers.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years shipping production software, ideally with at least one stretch at a small team where you owned a system end to end.
- Strong in TypeScript and at least one backend language we use (Go, Python, or Node).
- Comfortable across the stack. You can pick up the database, the queue, or the React component as the work demands.
- Calm in incidents. You debug the system instead of the person.
- Care about the craft. Tests, docs, and the boring parts of reliability are not someone else's problem.

Machine Learning Engineer
Full-time · RemoteBuild and train the models that sit at the centre of Yuree. From the vision stack that reads a face to the recommendation models that turn biomarkers into a ritual, you'll own training pipelines end to end and ship them into production.
What you'll do
- Design, train, and evaluate models for facial keypoint extraction, undertone classification, dermal biomarker estimation, and palette matching.
- Build the data pipelines that get curated, labelled, balanced datasets to the training step, including handling skin-tone fairness explicitly.
- Run rigorous offline and online evaluation. You should know whether a new model is genuinely better or just lucky on a hold-out.
- Productionise the models you train: latency budgets, observability, rollback paths, and on-device inference where it matters.
- Collaborate closely with our dermatology and styling advisors so the labelling reflects expert ground truth, not vibes.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years training and shipping ML models in production, ideally including computer vision or multimodal work.
- Strong in PyTorch, comfortable across the modern stack: data, training, evaluation, deployment, and the boring infrastructure under all of it.
- Care about evaluation as much as training. You know that a model is whatever its eval suite says it is.
- Experience with on-device inference, distillation, or quantisation is a meaningful plus.
- Calm explaining a regression in plain language to people who don't read papers for a living.

Social Media Strategist
Full-time · RemoteTranslate our skincare science into a feed people actually want to follow. You'll lead organic strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and the long tail, working in tight orbit with the chemists and the founders so the content carries the actual substance and not a soft trend skin.
What you'll do
- Own the organic content strategy and editorial calendar across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and the journal.
- Sit in on formulation reviews and dermal study readouts so the content can credibly explain why a given active was chosen.
- Run a weekly hook-and-format experiment cadence, with retention-first analytics, not vanity metrics.
- Build the creator and dermatologist partnership program that puts Yuree in the right hands without losing the editorial voice.
- Brief and direct freelance editors and motion designers, and edit the work yourself when the timing demands.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years running social for a beauty, wellness, or science-led consumer brand with measurable growth to point at.
- Native fluency in short-form video formats. You have an opinion about retention curves, not just vibes.
- Curious about the science. You enjoy reading the abstract before you read the takeaway.
- A writer first, designer second. You can hold a brand voice across thirty posts a month without it fraying.
- Comfortable being remote-first across at least one Seoul-overlapping window per week.
